The summer has arrived! Come and explore the exciting world of minibeasts. Use a net to dive into the watery depths of the pond in search of water boatmen and dragonfly nymphs and delve into the woodland undergrowth to find spiders and snails. Use natural materials to make a giant sculpture in the woods and make your own model to take home.
Suitable for children aged 6-11 years. Parents/carers do not accompany children.
Meet on the green between Stanmer House and Church, Stanmer Park, Lewes Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 9QA.
Please ensure children bring a packed lunch and drink, ideally in a rucksack, and wear suitable outdoor clothing/footwear and sun protection for the weather conditions.
Not suitable for wheelchair users or those with compromised mobility.
Toilets in Stanmer village.
Brighton and Hove Bus route nos. 23, 25, 28 and 29 from Brighton stop outside Stanmer Park. Nearest mainline train station: Falmer. One mile walk to meeting place from main road.
